I agree - Never Let me Go was just horrid. A sci-fi romance? Make up your mind, Mr. Screenwriter - it can be (a) Sci-fi OR (b) Romance, it can't be both. The Sci-fi plot became all but forgotten, as the ROmance plot dominated. About 2/3 way through, I even forgot it was a Sci-fi I was watching Think of the top 5 sci-fi's ever made. Guess what they all have in common? None are romance films.
