When will BD announce 1M in sales?

So Toshiba announced 100K player sales today.

It strikes me that BD must be pretty close to 1M sales of Blu Ray discs at this point:

As of March 18th, based on the Sony report, Cummulative sales were 844K and YTD was about 550K (or about 210K per month).

So seems like sales may have already surpassed 1M at this point in that trend held.

Any predictions on whether we'll see an announcement on this, and if so, when?
