Lionsgate generally has worst blu-ray transfers I ever seen.
WB do average transfer jobs just because they have to compromise capability of HDDVD. Lionsgate on contrary. Do you ever see a dull, noisy, flat transfer which run @ 30+ Mbps? Go watch lionsgate catelog BDs. Terminator 2, which is the best one in the trilogy, has worst transfer. Even new date and day movies like war are so so, on par with WB's HDDVD quality. (Good news is it looks like get improved, 3:10, Lord of War's transfers are above average and acceptable, although they still can't compared to Disney/Fox/Sony's releases.) |
