Cliff, how about a F/X and F/X 2 double feature? Have you guys considered this, or is it even remotely possible?

I would suggest buying Arrow's region free blu of Bay of Blood. I bought it directly from Amazon UK and paid only $20.00 US dollars. It's a good release for such an old movie. Also, since it's region free it will play in any blu ray player. I was very pleased with PQ.

In the Kino thread someone posted it's coming out in September with 5 Dolls for an August Moon.

Me to. I've been hoping for a Scream! release for this underrated flick and have held off on the MOD release.

Count me in as well, MGM HD Channel has been playing Spellbinder (Kelly Preston) and it looks excellent.

A blu ray what simply be the BEST!

I remain astounded at the inability of people to harness their computerized masters.

Here in Winnipeg, it was just discovered that McDonalds was charging an extra percentage point of sales tax. When this was pointed out, they admitted it was a computer error and they were working on a fix. They suggested people keep their burger receipts so they could get a redund when a fix was found.

Seriously. Working on a fix. in the "old days", If I was overcharged for something, I'd just tell the cashier and she'd say, "Oops...here's your money back". Done.

How crazy is it that huge companies (and last time I looked, amazon and McDonalds were pretty big) remain at the mercy of their incompetent computer operators?

On day one, you could call it a simple error. By the third day without a fix, amazon was looking like a Three Stooges sketch. After eight days, there are no remaining superlatives to described the depths of their idiocy.
Worst part is that sales tax isn't that hard to figure out but sadly most people can't even count back change. I remember that days when the cash register didn't figure out the amount for you and you had to do that yourself.

Darn - I was really hoping for another action 4-pack with Steele Justice. I still have hopes Shout might put out Enemy Territory, Rolling Vengeance and The Taking of Beverly Hills at some point.

Looks like the MGM titles that Scream/Shout have said no to could get a release from Twilight Time.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=5365

So I guess this could be a good thing.

Great so, at best, I can look forward to paying ~$33ea for Mr. Mom and Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man IF they both pass TT's "smell test"!!

Somehow I can't envision those as being TT material.

Yeah I'd be very surprised if TT weren't enquiring after MGM/UA's epics and more prestigious titles from the 50s-70s. But then we know TT likes a good horror now and then. Something like Pumpkinhead may appeal to them.

That's what I'm hoping for and any other horror's Scream passed on.

2 MGM releases I so want on Blu-Ray are "Desperately Seeking Susan" and "Blown Away" - Blown Away(1994 Jeff Bridges-Tommy Lee Jones) is such an overlooked action movie plus it has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard on a movie in 5.1 ))

Dear God why would you all want TT to get Pumpkinhead and have to pay $35 for it? Don't forget about Olive. They are slightly cheaper then TT as well.

I mean I'm all for Pumpkinhead and I fully support TT but I always don't want to pay a ton for movies.

I never said it was my preference, just that it's a strong possibility now. Shout don't want it and TT and Criterion are the only US companies I know who have a relationship with MGM. Olive don't.
