Default Chappie Review Thread

District 9 and Elysium director Neill Blomkamp has recruited the Slumdog Millionaire to help make his latest sci-fi slum film the slummiest yet. Blomkamp will once again return to the future's shittiest neighborhoods for Chappie, a film based on a short he made in 2004, and Patel has reportedly signed on to star as the film's human lead. As for the non-human lead, Blomkamp's old go-to Sharlto Copley will co-star as a robot cop that is not RoboCop, as Detroit isn't even slummy enough for this. This will be the most slummy.
