Default PC Playback: What is required?
I would like to upgrade my PC to play Blu-Ray on my HD(1080p) TV. What do I need?

I currently run an AMD 6000+ chip with an nVidea 8800gts (320MB) graphics card under XP and can play DVDs with no problem?

If I buy a Blu-Ray player drive and drop it into the PC will it play?

I remember researching this about a year ago and reading the the graphics card had to included some sort of DRM firmware before it would allow playback.

Also is Linux a viable OS to use for Blu-Ray? I currently have a Linux PVR with MythTV so this could be an option.
