Yeah, TV is just a sidenote at the Golden Globes but it's ridiculous to lump everything together. How do you compare Rob Lowe's 5 minutes of screen time in Behind the Candelabra to what Aaron Paul did in Breaking Bad? In addition it doesn't make sense to not have separate categories for comedy and drama. It's tough to compare Sofia Vergara's performance in Modern Family to the other 4 nominees which are all dramatic performances. Sadly they'll probably never change it though because that would cause the awards to give more time to TV shows which in effect takes time away from movies, which is the main focus of the show.
