Any truth to this PS3 60 & 120g rumor?

I went to pick up THE Chronilces of Narnia blu-ray this morning at Walmart and the guy who got Narnia out of the box for me was asking me if i had a PS3 or a blu-ray player. When i told him I had a PS3 he said they were informed today in their weekly meeting that the PS3 40 g and 80 g are being phased out and that the 40 g was being replaced with a larger hard drive the a 60 g, and that the 80 g would now be 120 g model. He said that they were not given an exact date but wee told by this summer they would carry both the 60 and 120 g models and that SONY would be releaseing a press release later this week. Has anyone heard anything official about this? I get new blu-ray releases every Tuesday morning and talk to this guy all the time and he seems to know his stuff.
