Wow, that's crazy it's out of print. Now was the time they should have printed up more copies. It was an interesting movie. O'Herily (spelling), the guy that runs the Silver Shamrock factory from Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, is in this one also. It's a bit silly at times with some of the jokes, so it doesn't take itself too seriously. Reminds me a lot of Dredd 3D, where Dredd has to go up against the dealers.

If your going to buy the first film make sure you get the new master. As for the third film, you are very lucky you have not seen it.

This would have been nice for 3D, but oh well. The action scenes were clear and not very shaky in the film to my relief.

Agreed. I also really enjoyed Robocop 2014. Very cool movie and loved the theme of "Safety versus Freedom" with the robots being argued for the US under Michael Keaton's robot company. Reminds me of another great robot film, where the robots did take over, I Robot. Yeah, Kinneman did a great job here. Along with Keaton, Gary Olman as the scientist, and some funny comments by Samuel L Jackson. Great movie IMO, with some cool action scenes, and Robocop's style and motorcycle were very cool in black with the red visor. He was bullet proof for the most part, but still took a beating. I liked how the movie seemed to be over, but kept going to complete the story. Good stuff IMO.
[Show spoiler]I wish if there is a sequel they'd go back in black instead of the silver they hinted at.

I think the 3D version will be an import hopefully from stores like yesasia.com or something like that.
