The first episode was quite good, and I'm in for the long haul. Of course, Sunday evening is getting a bit crowded, so I'm watching a Sunday wee-hours slot on NatGeo. It's all good.

I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that Seth MacFarlane is one of the people behind this reboot.

Well I'm glad that u guys are watching it....hopefully more people tune in.

I watched Sagan's original a few times, but I think you will enjoy the original if you watch more than one episode. He is the farthest thing from being a dull speaker....quite the opposite is true. If you admired him so much then why did you only watch one episode of Sagan's original? What lectures have you heard from him that make you feel he is an unenthusiastic host?

If Carl Sagan was a boring host then how come COSMOS was such an astronomical success? I'm not trying to be argumentative, just voicing my own opinion, and defending one of the greatest scientists in recent history.

...but I'm pleased to see that you are enjoying the current re-boot.

Cheers
