IMO, Lady Stoneheart is the ultimate explanation why someone shouldn't be brought back from the dead. This isn't Catelyn Stark anymore. It's a thing that used to be her.

So I've never really considered it a cheap device. If done right in the show, I don't think show-only viewers will either.

The following is a BIG spoiler if u havent made it all the way thru Book 5 ADWD

[Show spoiler]...for bring Jon Snow back from the dead. The common theory is Jon returns mostly unchanged because he has skin shifted into Ghost. Lady Stark was dead for days before being reanimated.

Locke might be a hybrid character of both Vargo Hoat and Bowen Marsh?

I dont think he is a hybrid character...the story I heard was Martin asked them to change the name since they completely changed the character. Hoate was a Bloody Mummer??? and worked for the Mountain while Locke works for Bolton.

Did it look like the King Other was a member of a completely different race of Others compared to the ones that we've seen up to this point?

Man they are really going their own path now, maybe so it will be so different from the books that it won't matter that we might see the conclusion of the series before GRRM finishes The Winds of Winter.

nah i do not think its that they just showed something that has not come to pass in the books yet. But they will.

yeah that does definitely not happen in the books, But maybe they did it because Brans story in the books is just so ****ing boring excuse my french he he. It also looks like Coldhands has indeed been cut out of the show´like the actor that plays Sam said. He must afterall be a sideshow character in the books and not important at all. Otherwise they would not have cut him out and He has also not really been important in the books yet either.
