I just upgraded my Front and Center Speakers. Picked up a L/R TSx220B and a center TSx150C. I have an Onkyo HT-R580 AV Receiver that I hooked them up too. The original package came with 24 gauge wires but I upgraded that to 16 gauge instead. Can't wait to try this mix out.
![]() Honestly I never paid attention to the audio settings but after some weekend reading I made some adjustments to the receiver as well. The settings had my front L/R set to large so I set them to small. My crossover was 100hz which I set to 80hz. I noticed during testing The center was having a high pitched spike but turning on the cinema-filter seems to have corrected that issue. Looks like the Audyssey EQ and Dynamic EQ were already activated and I set the A/V sync to 0mm (was at 20mm). Will try a full on film tonight but from some sampling I did it sounds so much better then the original speakers my Onkyo package came with. |
