When I'm playing Blu-Ray movies in uncompressed lossless format, the subwoofer is being used.
When I'm playing a PS3 game like, say, Uncharted and have the audio option set to Linear PCM, then the subwoofer is being used. However, when I stick in an Audio CD on my PS3, only the 5 channels are being used (fronts, center, rears) but NOT the subwoofer. Is there any reason for this, or do I have to mess around with the settings on my receiver to get the subwoofer working? |
