Default HDMI 1.3 changed my life

Of all the features from the 1.80 update, HDMI 1.3 deep color was the most important. All TV's are now supported and HDMI is truly 'Full HD'.

The ps3 with HDMI used to be washed-out, and 1080i on my 720p was just bad...However, now that they enabled HDMI 1.3 deep color, I am having a whole new experience. The blacks are so black, the colors have a loud pop, and the whites glisten. This isn't sugar coating either, it's amazing.

You know the PS3 is good when the Resitance: FoM game menu looks more amazing than any xbox 360 games. Also, there are no human words to describe Apocolypto on blu-ray with deep color & super-white enabled. I guess Sony was focusing on video playback first, since it's most relevant, and they did a hella sweet job.

I couldn't imagine HDMI 1.1 & 1.3 could be so dramatic. Did anybody else notice the difference even with the XMB background?
