I found this kind of ridiculous. So, I thought I'd post about it.
I have every Disney 3D flick. So, I have thousands of Disney reward points. OF course the DVD you get in a set and the points themselves add cost to the consumer. I'd rather pay $10 (US) then what I have to pay for the all these extras that mean nothing to me. Frozen for some reason has never been released in 3D in the US. Since I see they've released a new Beauty and the Beast in the UK I bought both from Amazon UK. They've sent me Frozen and I get points but only in the UK. However I can't become a UK rewards member because I don't live in the UK. I wrote Disney Rewards and they were kind enough to give me 150 points. But, every time they've responded with "You need to buy US product to receive US points". Yet no one has answered the question "How do you buy something that doesn't exist?" I would gladly have bought the US version in 3D. Unfortunately it was never released in 3D in the US. It sucks they chose to not give the US consumer the 3D version. |
