Default What BD player/price drop could counter Toshiba?

Toshiba took their older 1080i-only player and dropped it down to a very low price-point. Consumers are snapping them up fast. This could influence disk sales very soon.

What BR player is positioned for such a price drop? The Samsung BD-P1000?

Americans buy based on price.

How does Sony plan to counter this, before it's too late? What player will they offer, or re-introduce under a new model number, at an affordable price?
