It's also posted in the wrong section. There's a whole Movie and TV forum. If you go there there's 4 or 5 Batman threads in the top quarter of the page.

The first one takes you back many years ago, back to the 60's if you really want to get technical. Or to the 90's when Michael Keaton was playing him. Batman Begins was the first of this new era Batman. I think every single Batman movie was good. Even the one with Chris O'Donnell and Alicia Silverstone.

what was interesting was that I have the batman begins blu which has the 6min prologue and when I saw TDK in the theatre, which is a brand new 3 chip DLP projector, the theatre was not nearly as good as the transfer on the blu-ray. The blu has better resolution and more of the POP factor, there was a scene after the prologue that was a kind of montage of footage the spacific scene where you see batman on his bike for like three seconds, it appeard as though one of his guns was actually poping out of my screen, it was a really cool DOF effect. I watched for the same scene in the theatre and was waiting for that same Woa! but for whatever reason it was not as eye catching as the blu.
This WILL be a MUST on blu! |

Yep, the prologue for Dark Knight on Batman Begins Blu-Ray had way better PQ than what I saw at the theater. Just so I didn't think I was remembering wrong about the better PQ I checked out the prologue on blu-ray again and yep, it's way better.

If you want that "wow" factor, go see it in IMAX. The clips they show after the bank scene in The Dark Knight prologue are all shot in IMAX (as is the bank scene). The scene with the Batpod that you were talking about is at the end of the movie when Gordon is saying that they have to chase him now. It looked beautiful in IMAX.

SWEET!! So, in a week I get to see Judas Priest, then 2 weeks later I am in Europe for 3 months, then I come back and James Bond is out, as well as Gears of War 2, and many other games. Not to mention I turned 18 and graduated school. THIS YEAR IS AWESOME!!
The Dark Night is the best. WOOOO Off to see it again, but in Imax this time, on Tuesday. Then maybe again next Sunday. |

the movie was great the joker is the real star of this movie while the rest of the cast fell way below ledger's acting skills , also bale did a great job making batman look more darker and seriuos and leaving the comic persona in the past
iron man & every super hero from comic books can eat dust in front of batman's deepth |
