No, because it plays fine on many different players. It's a chipset issue.

The chipset isn't clocking the TrueHD bitstream correctly so when there's a branch on the disc it loses track. So Total Recall has the same errors. The MI4K doesn't branch so there isn't issue with its TrueHD track on certain players. Decoding to PCM in the player should resolve the issue.

I just bought the Sarah Connor Chronicles Seasons 1 and 2, and I stumbled across an Australian thread about a disc replacement program. Apparently, the Australian Season 2 set skipped and froze all over disc one. Does anyone know if this was just an Australian issue, or do the U.S. discs have the same issue?

I completely and totally forgot about it to be honest with you. Sorry about that.

If someone, like the person who posted above, is more interested in maintaining a complete list and keeping it up to date feel totally free to just grab any stuff I've already posted by just pressing the quote button and cutting it out - that way it'll have all the hyperlinks and embedded info I've already already formatted into it, if any of it isn't already in the newest thread. If you do I'll just edit my opening post to link directly to your thread as the new replacement/exchange database thing, and make sure people know this isn't the most current one.

Some of the exchange/replacement programs are actually inactive, and I've notated them as such. I think my list is complete and up-to-date.

OK cool. I'll keep the body of my original post as it is now archived in spoiler tags, that way if you have missed any data from it or if anyone needs to refer to it you can still use the quote function to cut and paste from it and toss it into your thread, but people won't think it's the most up to date list anymore.

I'll link your thread in the opening post.

Maybe it'd be good to have a mod edit the title of your thread (dunno if they actually do that though) so people know it's a list for everything and not just the recent batch of Criterion stuff, because I'm sure a lot of people find threads for replacement/exchange programs through the title search function.
