Well, since each side is a mirro of the other, I assume you're missing one location.

Island Outpost - Entire Map

Small zone, by TOW Missle, is the only one that doesn't have mines.

1. Main Base - in hangar (one hangar has jeeps and tanks, the other has mines and health packets).

From Main Base - go left.
2. Mines on small hill.

Take back road to third base located by the bridge.
3. Mines up the ladder on the silo.

4. Mines near tunnel enterance.

That's 4 mine locations with 4 mines each. There are 4 mine locations mirrored on the other side with 4 mines each.

That is 8 locations with 4 mines each - giving you access to 32 mines. If you lay down all four mines (before picking up the next set of mines) you can effectively blanket almost every zone and road way.

As you are going from one mine location to the other, if you picked good locations, you'll see your name go come up for kills - quite often actually. Once you have set down all your mines (I've had all my mines get used from people dying before I've even left a zone - and had to set them all up again.)

I use Warhawks to get to mines quickly and scatter them across the board. Sometimes, if I see a flag carrier coming - I'll boost ahead in a Warhawk and set down mines, then hover back up so I don't scare them off. BOOM! I go back down and save the flag.

Mines are extremely usefull and highly neglected by many people. If I can drive from one side of the map to the other and not even have to drive around a mine - the other team isn't doing a good job utilizing mine locations.

Mines can defend a zone or stop a flag carrier, even when you're not around. I get a lot of points, and I'm not even fighting - of course, during my mining I often get into combat with troops and get more points that way as well.

I often go into enemy territory and use their own mines on their planes and missle turrets. It's pretty funny when someone gets in a plane, gets a few feet off the ground and explodes.

Alright, well, that ends today's lesson on mining.

Trophy patch up in T-minus 6 hours 30 minutes.

But servers will be done for a few hours after that so you can use that time to get the tutorial trophies

They don't go back up 'till 9am tomorrow....

I thought there was a limit on how many mines you could lay down. I've actually seen mines dissappear in front of mine eyes while laying down new ones, so I always assumed there was a limit.

I think it might be in a certain area maybe. I noticed that today. Some of them disappeared when I start my second batch. So I spread it out more and they actually stayed the third time.

So, it turns out...I suck at fighting. I can defend a flag, I can capture a flag, I can aggressively capture zones and bases. But when it comes to pure Deathmatches I really get murdered.

I tried a few to see if I could get the 50 combat points...the highest I got in 30 minutes was 38. And that was preceded by 25s. And I 60-70 times each game. If there were hour long games, I might get that sucker. Ugh....it's frustrating.

I cant even find a deathmatch! And I can only find MAYBE 1 or 2 TDMs. I dont know why its like that.
