Black Snake Moan PQ not that good? Because it's not "fullscreen"

As a filmmaker that prefers to shoot in 2.39:1 aspect, I would be pretty mad if someone chopped my work up and watched it in 4:3..

What's the point of me even going to all the trouble of filling up my frame when some idiot is just going to mess it up and chop off the information I put in that frame.

Original Aspect ratio of what the filmmaker intended is the only way to go.

even on a 16x9 TV the 'black bars' on a 2.39:1 movie are tiny... who even notices them after 5 minutes into the film anyways?
