They'd say, "I thought you no longer needed the black bars with a widescreen tv?" The main argument b4 wide-screen tv's, were that the Black bars was because of the box television set. I think the topic starter is wondering why is it that he no longer has a box set, and still gets the black bars. many were under the impression that the widescreen tv would eliminate the black bars. Since the tv was no longer 4:3 ratio. this was the argument given for the black bars. |
