There are some movies where I come out of the cinema feeling like it was good, but not great or was a major letdown.

And there are movies where I leave the cinema feeling like I've just seen a truly amazing movie. Wonder Woman WAS this movie!! I definitely wouldn't mind the Blu-ray having an extended 3 hour cut.

I am so looking forward to finally seeing this tonight. She is my favourite super hero along with Spidey and I have not been this excited for a CBM since Spider-man 1.

I haven't sat through the credits since Winter Soldier. I just read about them and watch the credit scenes on Blu. It's more enjoyable to FF through the credits rather than sitting in the theater waiting for a scene.

It's definitely challenging to sit through the credits, especially after just sitting on my butt for 2+ hours, but I'm one of the few who do, I guess. I haven't been disappointed with any of the scenes but one stands out as getting me the most excited. That was Skull Island. I think JL will have another really good one.

Snyder doesn't really do post credits scenes

Yeah I would be surprised if there was one. I read an article a while back saying they left it up to the individual directors if they wanted a post credits scene or not. As Snyder hasn't had one yet I don't expect one in Justice League either.

Just got back from watching Wonder Woman. Awesome...just awesome!

Loved every moment of it so much so that I'll be going again to watch it on the weekend. This film had everything and was so well crafted. Can't believe it took so long for this character to make it to the big screen but finally she has and it was a very special event. My cinema was packed and I went to a session that was just after everyone finished work. Everyone looked like they were enjoying the film and were all laughing at the funny moments etc. Gotta give it to Patty Jenkins, Zack & Debra Snyder and the cast and crew - they did an amazing job with this one. Absolutely amazing!!

Don't want to give anything away so I'll wait for you all to see it before I discuss everything in detail. I myself avoided all media relating to it in the lead up because I didn't want anything to be ruined. Really hope they go on to make sequels because I want to see more more more! This just got me even more hyped to see more Wonder Woman in Justice League later on in the year (though it wasn't really possible to get me more hyped than I already was). Keep them coming WB / DC...we can't get enough of this!

- Oh and no, there are not mid or end credits scene. We waited right to the end of the credits...

I must say the trailers were pretty lacking in spoilers; I think they have learned their lesson after giving so much away in the Batman v Superman trailers.

Snyder had a credit scene in Dawn of the Dead (ran during credits though, not post) which was actually pretty crucial to the plot. I think some of his DC credit decisions come from Nolan though, who apparently is strongly against the idea of credit scenes.

Another Blu-Ray.com review....

Does this guy like any movies at all? No disrespect but some of his critiques were nitpicking.

To be fair this seems to be getting mixed reviews even though leaning on the positive side. Few outright bad reviews, but it's not unanimously good. People looking at RT and seeing 92% may get the impression the positive reviews are more enthusiastic than they are but reading through them, it's more like "This is pretty good" than "OMG put this in with Dark Knight RIGHT NOW."

WW has a 92% tomatometer with a 7.5/10 average rating. The top critics average is 7.9/10. The Metascore is 75/100 ("generally favorable reviews").

I wouldn't call that mixed. It's outright positive.

Yeah even TDK and IM are the benchmarks at 94.

TDK has a critic score of 8.6 again the benchmark.

If you make a list of cbm that are in the high 80s or above and in the mid 7s for critical score or above, it's the creme of the crop of the genre.

The Blu-ray.com review gave it a 7/10. "Wonder Woman doesn’t walk away from her first film unscathed, but Jenkins mostly gets it right, focusing on grandeur, virtue, and sheer butt-kicking excellence, supporting a hero who’s truly heroic."

Seems positive to me.
