Jennifer Love Hewitt is fighting "hard" to land the coveted role of Wonder Woman on the big screen, confessing she is "obsessed" with playing the TV heroine.

Hollywood stars Megan Fox, Eliza Dushku, Sandra Bullock and Beyonce Knowles have all been tipped to take over the role Lynda Carter made famous in the 1970s for Joss Whedon's big screen remake.

But Hewitt is pleading with movie studio bosses at Warner Bros. to hire her for the part.

She says, "I'm fighting so hard. I think Warner Bros. is getting ready to make Wonder Woman and I really want to play Wonder Woman. I am obsessed with Wonder Woman."

Dushku is the best choice of those, pretty much the only proven action star. Wonder Woman wouldn't be much of a reach for someone who played a Slayer.

She seems a little too cute for me. I would have a hard time buying her kicking anybody's ass. I would picture someone a little more dangerous.

They would have to hire someone else to do the stunts, I can see her trying to punch or kick something and breaking a nail.

If Joss Whedon was still attached to the project I won't be surprise if she does get the part.

I can't see JLH as wonder woman. She just doesnt seem tough enough for it. Going by looks alone, not acting ability, I would choose Megan Fox over the rest of them. We all know she's out until she proves she can act.

JLH is gorgeous and a better choice than some of those names listed..

Sandra Bullock? So they want this to be Wonder Grandma?
Beyonce? Horrible at acting and yeah she looks the part as much as that black kid looks the part for Spiderman

I can see Dushku pulling it off

... Megan Fox perhaps as well.

You say beyonce can't act, but go on to say Megan Fox could pull it off. Does the fact that she can't act at all either register in your noggin?

She has a nice chest but it's probably at best a very respectable B cup. My choices would be Erica Durance or Eliza Dushku, maybe Jennifer Connelly.

In short, at least Megan Fox could pull off the looks (and while she isn't great at acting, she is still far superior to Beyonce in terms of acting ability). So 1 out of 2 criteria. Where as Beyonce is 0 for 2 unless bleaches herself.

Wonder Woman could always be done similar to how Neytiri was done so in that case someone like Zoe Saldana could be in the running.
