Just bought the 50pz85u but I have some questions

Can anyone point me to such a calibrator in the Southern California area? Near Los Angeles if possible

I apologize up front if my questions may have been answered. I'm new to this HDTV stuff

How could you not know if you paid too much considering how much time you claim to have spent "reading every post regarding the 85u that [you] could find..."?
If you had indeed "been up and down the forums both here and at avsforums", then presumably you also researched the hell out of the price and know quite well if you paid too much.
