Those who want to purchase The Dark Knight (younger crowds, most likely) will buy it on the best format they own (Blu-ray). Since Mamma Mia! has a built-in ABBA fan base of baby boomers, who most likely haven't gone Blu yet, you're going to see a ton of people buying it on DVD. Heck, my aunt who is 70 years old has Mamma Mia! on DVD, seen it 8 times, and probably doesn't know what Blu-ray is, let alone The Dark Knight.

I agree.

My "younger side" purchased TDK on Blu to get the best from the disc. My "Older side" along with my wife purchased Mamma because we love ABBA and because my "younger side" has a Blu player, I wanted to hear Mamma the best it could be heard which made my "older side" very happy.
