I like the look of some of those. Maybe I can finally ditch my 5 year old Toshiba Sprint phone. (It is older than the format war, so no comments on it being Toshiba)

You can get some nice cheap BlackBerry's on ebay cheap.

cant you just buy a unlocked one from sony store usa? Dumb question...

I'm confused i'm not familiar with those terms... never used sprint they cluster screwed us when we moved here and they were added to our family black list...

GSM is pretty much the world standard cellular network, used here by AT&T and Verizon (I think). SPRINT and T-Mobile (I think) use CDMA. CDMA phones also do not use SIM cards, so it is harder to switch phones.

*Sprint not Sony. my bad.
