The yellow cover is the one I have - think I may have uploaded that version originally even. It is region free but if I remember right the intro trailers are not region free, so if you just skip or hit top menu you can bypass that part and get to the movie menu at which point its RF from there on out.

Did your copy come w/the yellow cover? That is the one I ordered/hoped for from AMZ
& received today without the yellow cover, rats (that really is the reason I ordered that specific version + to save $$).

(However it is the same version just w/o that cherished yellow cover ) oh well C'est la vie!

Yes I got the yellow cover, its the one from Holland. GSH is a guilty pleasure of mine. Its like a modern Shakespearean brawl and the performances hit the right chords with me. I've watched my copy 4-5 times now and can easily see myself watching it again soon

I dont want to be rude, but I'm curious about your moral stance here. Bad language offends you, but men slashing and stomping upon rival fans doesn't? The violence in most football films is a fairly realistic portrayal of hooligan/casual culture, as is the language. I'm just wondering why Trim Trabbs stomping on faces and Stanleys cutting cheeks open isn't an issue, but too many f-bombs is. Again, not being a jerk, but just curious.

GSH is an excellent independent film from the 200X's. I saw this in the theater when it got a limited release. This was a great role for Elijah Wood, who I had previously only really seen in the LOTR films.

The movie has an intentional gritty vibe, and the story about football hooliganism in the UK was interesting.

My favorite scene was at the

[Show spoiler]very end, when the EW character confronted the scum-bag former college room-mate in that high-end social club (back in the States) - classic!

There is nothing I can do w/bad language/violence in films/tv shows (it is in almost every film/tv show I watch these days ... I just alot & move on, however it does not reflect who I am in my life ).

I was/am just hoping for good crime dramas *emphasizing* drama within/without the football culture. This is my 1st time viewing these related football culture films.

The reviews I read about The Football Factory (which I've not seen as of yet or the others which I purchased based on what little I saw of GSH from our local library ... maybe I'll enjoy these or maybe not ) is what was being discussed (apparently it is more excessive then what I was hoping for ... should have looked/researched more into it, I was/am naive sometimes ).

So far I've only watched GSH, which started out good for me then faded alot, although I did enjoy Elijah Wood & Charlie Hunnam performances. This could have been scripted better for me though IMHO.

I do/would enjoy more film/tv shows not having every sentence used w/*bad language* & yes less *slashing/stomping* (dumb down of our evil world is a reality though).

I do enjoy more *subtle* atmospheric horror, crime drama, etc. films/tv shows with better stories, these are my true cup of tea!
