There are some movies I can watch over and over again and not get tired of it. And then there are some, like you said, once is enough unless a friend wants to see it then I can sit through it again. I usually just buy BD's of movies I know I'll watch more then twice. If it's something I haven't seen I rent from Netflix then decide if I want to buy it.

Because my girl and I live about an hour apart now, I'll christen my blus with her on the weekends and rewatch during the week. I have to agree that there is no point in buying something if you'll only watch it once... unless you have a fetish for unwrapping things.

Sometimes I think it's best to re-watch a movie on your own. I often feel like I miss part of the movie when there are other things going on, such as having guests over.
