Letting young people see violence vs nudity in movies

There will be no clear answer on this topic. Everyone can go round and round on it.
Show the kid boobs...show him violence...whatever. I saw all this when I was a kid (ahhh...seeing Porky's in the theater was great) and I turned out ok. He probably will turn out ok also.
I feel really no need to show him a graphic sex scene right now. Has he seen nudity or sex in a flick? Probably. For now though...I dont feel the need to show him.

BTW...as another poster has said. I think BOB's and Saving Private Ryan SHOULD be shown in schools. Its history...and I believe that kids should be shown the horrors of war, and taught about it. I am just going to leave the nudity part out for now.

Yup, like all debates that focus on individual opinions and morals, it's all really up to the person holding the reins.
