What movies you were too young to see?

Lot's of movies were once upon a time release in theater and I could not see them. I was born in 1968, almost 70 years of movies release I could not see in theater cause I was too young

I remember being to young to watch Animal House in the theater....but I also remember all those movies I watched on HBO when my parents were sleeping

My parents never restricted my viewing of films. I knew that it was all just an act. I saw Alien in the theater when I was 5, Excalibur, Conan, and many other R-Rated films when I was young too. I doubt that my parents would have let me watch UFC if that had been around when I was young.

Remember going to see 'Das boot' when it was released.I was 16 I think,and it had an 18 limit.Got turned away at the door,and was really dissapointed not being able to see it.Saw it a few years later (maybe many) on VHS and saw what I missed.Think that was one of those rare movies which makes a lasting impression.

That film is one of my favorites.That movie all the elements clicked.Seen those two actors (Harrelson and Snipes) in other movies which were crap IMHO.

The first movie that comes to mind is The Big Chill. I dont know why, I still to this day have never seen the movie. But my parents were watching it one day and wouldn't let me stay to watch it. What is the movie about?

technically i was too young to see the terminator 1 & 2 but my uncle was babysitting us one day and brought that over to watch and i watched it w/him when i was like 5 and the i saw parts of terminator 2 from the next room w/o anyone knowing when i was @ a relative's house!!

i was always expecting the t-1000 to shoot a blade from the bottom of my bed like he did w/the milk carton!!!

EDIT: is the op wondering about movies we were too young to see in the theater or movie we were too young to watch b/c they are scary or bad for you b/c of your age???
