blu jacket i can't get a cable unless its like 15 ft i would say. cause if u look at my HT pics the router is all the way on the other side.

worldturning
well i was lookin at access points, but on the ones i saw there is only 1 ethernet port for like 125 if it had like 3-4 fine but thats ridicoulous. do u know of any linksys that has 3-4? oh and yea thats a wireless n linksys router =D good eyes haha

also if i do this im definately thinking about going with a access point.

I have an old linksys router model BEFW1S4 its a wireless-b 2.4ghz 802.11b router, any chance i could set it up to be an access point or bridge?

I think you need a bridge, not an access point though some models are both. Here is a 4-port or 5-port Linksys wireless G bridge (can't find it on the Linksys site anymore though):

Check out the user reviews.

I have this Dlink wireless N bridge since I have a Dlink wireless N router, but should work with any wireless N router:

It's actually cheaper at another major online retailer that begins with an A.

If you want to give it a shot, here is a link to a set of directions that were posted (near bottom of page 1):

However though, I think you need a wireless bridge, not an access point and you would probably want WPA/WPA2 wireless security versus WEP security which is mentioned in the instructions.
