Denon firmware updates for my 3808. - Blu-ray Forum

Here's a silly question, Iv'e had my amp Denon 3808 for about a year now & it's never had a firmware update, so question is how do I get these up-dates, I do have internet connection but not connected to the amp, so what exactly do I need?

Connect the amp to your LAN.
If you have a DHCP server on your network, the amp should get an address assigned. Otherwise, you will have to setup your IP addressing manually.
Once you confirm the Denon has an IP address, you will need to go to the GUI and update the firmware.
This can be found under Manual Setup > Option Setup > Update Firmware

It will go out to the Internet and search for an updated version of software. If you have the current version, then it will tell you that no new versions available or something like that.

All done & completed!!!!
Worked just fine, no probs at all really don't know what the updates are for or how it will improve the system but hopefully it will be ok
