Check with the manufacturer to see what they recommend. They might be designed for "free air"/infinite baffle installation or perhaps you can put them in an enclosure, maybe it says in the owners manual ??? You can try some rockwool insulation in the wall cavity to help.
You may have some phase cancellation issues or placement issues ??? Typically in-walls do not produce strong bass or any speaker with small woofer(s) but it depends on the speaker though and in-walls can be trickier. I have a pair of in-walls that I use for surround back channels but they can provide a nice "little" kick when in seven ch stereo mode. I also have some rockwool insulation above and below the speaker as well. |
