In Messenger, click on settings (your Profile Icon), click SMS, and make sure the setting is set to Off.

Threads are closed for a reason, if you chose to ignore that and make or bump a similar thread for sole purpose of bypassing that lock, you're instigating trouble, and it's not a good idea.
