While the look of the CGI turtles took me a few days to accept and get used to since it was dramatically different than the cartoon versions, the CGI live action turtles thankfully captured the attitude and personalities of the Turtles in many ways, and the action was excellent with the fight choreography in both films. The fighting in the original Turtles live action films was great too, especially since it wasn't CGI or motion capture, but the real actors fighting in those turtle costume suits. As a note, Bay was only producer of the newer Turtles films, and didn't write or direct. I'm not a fan of his version of the Transformers live action films (but a big fan of the original animated Transformers series) but these Turtles films I really enjoyed regardless. I enjoy the original films, but was very entertained by the newest Turtles films, and hope this new reboot gets closer to the look of the original comic book characters, but keeps the great style of action.
