Kind of sounds like WB doesn't know what they're doing with their wording. It can't be a full blooded new Constantine if Matt Ryan's in it, and if Matt Ryan is in it, that automatically makes it Arrowverse. They make a big deal about TV and film characters but having two versions of Matt Ryan's Constantine would be just as confusing. Personally, I liked Constantine more than 90% of the Arrowverse so I'd like it to come back... but now that they've merged the two, I would want it to stay in the Arrowverse but could do better on DC Universe. If they could keep it set in the Arrowverse but not have it on CW then that'd be the best option IMO. |
