Yeah complaining about missing episodes is what got Tom and Jerry releases cancelled, so I'd like to actually purchase release this time.

On top of that, this is actually going to be a 6 disc set. Even Warner Bros online site says it has 6 discs. The 8 long lost episodes are on only two discs but the 15 that were previously released will still take up four discs.

That makes a whole lot more sense. I can't wait to have my copy in my hands again and for it to be just like Saturday and Sunday mornings once more.

Link? I'm on WBShop and there's no technical details at all about the set outside of it being "Blu Ray".

Wait... 8 episodes on 2 discs, and 15 episodes on 4 discs? That's unheard of for WB. I mean, that's Japan BD encodes levels of content per disc (which is a good thing). So, 4/5 episodes per disc?

What?! If it's BD-25s then this is for nothing, but if it's BD-50s, then this is insane!

These are the same guys that crammed 16 episodes of "The Venture Bros." on one disc.

This is misleading. The DVD set is six discs, the blu-ray is not. The WB site reflects this.

This was and is hugely exciting since it means the floodgates might finally open...but two discs is truly a leap backwards. I’m assuming the widescreen banner is a typo along with the 5.1. And the price being charged is for a multi disc set not a two disc bd. If it is indeed two discs with a 5.1 remix than I will wait for a heavy sale and just stick with my dvd set for a time. I suppose the higher price on both at release is due to rights licensing.

I was truly ecstatic for this release and for getting almost every episode cleared...but now...it doesn’t seem like it will be much better than the streaming episodes if crammed onto two discs.

The issues with BTAS were completely avoidable and I’d hate for that to continue.
If only the studio would be mistaken and think that WAC doubled as the Warner animation collection.

I would be shocked if they wouldn't release the original Scooby Doo: Where Are You with this being 50 years and all.

To not release Where Are You first is ridiculous. Now, if this release doesn't sell well, they'll never give us Where Are You on Blu-ray and blame it on this. Makes no sense.

I hope that this means there is a complete series Blu on the horizon for Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. I'd love to retire the DVDs of that, especially since the kids trashed them.

We have more Scooby home media coming this year, but unfortunately we don’t have SDMI to look forward to on Blu any time soon.
