Oh man. I wish they’d either made this for the first go around for the 2018 film or released this with the original.

It would be so cool if the art was embossed!

I’d like it even more if it was a glow in the dark cover as well.

Yes, but it would have to glow blue!

As much as I like McFarlane (I have the same artwork as a poster), I'll likely pass on it, since I already got the initial 4K steelbook Best Buy was selling when it first came out (not to mention having gotten it autographed since).

Kind hope it drops to $20 on release day but it seems unlikely.

Found this on eBay for 20 bucks. Guy has over 30,000 ratings and claims to have sold more than 200 of these. Figured they were legit and trusted seller. Let’s see what condition it arrives in.

My steelbook arrived today.

Everything seemed to be in good condition until I noticed a nice dent in the middle of the front cover. Not too noticeable as it is matte and black, so it's slightly concealed. Only seen when light is shined on it.

Oh well. What you see is what you get, right?

eBay is maddening. I describe every little issue I can see when I sell a steelbook, take pictures of all angles, and specify I’ll send it in a box. Unfortunately, though, I’ve had too many situations like yours when I’ve bought steelbooks on eBay or Mercari.

If it’s small and not too deep you might even be able to do some repair work on it. Usually you can make them barely visible and I’ve even got some dents out entirely.

Yeah. The seller didn’t have actual in hand photos. Only the generic placeholder stock pic. So that was risky on my part. They were the cheapest option which is why I purchased from them.
