So not sure is BB Exclusive or not. But here is the pic of it coming. Also doesn't say if it the 1978 version or not either.

Most likely this one since it's coming to Best Buy Canada. It's been on their site for a couple of weeks now and available to pre-order but it doesn't show a release date. It's the 2018 movie again. Art by Todd McFarlane.

At least now I know when it will be released.

Could this be the re-release of the 2018 film with the Todd McFarlane art on the steel?

Don't worry I was able to pull it and added it to the page. Also gave you credit as well.

Why?

They just had one of these a few months ago.

...it had great font and everything.

If you zoom in to see the interior shot on the J-Card, that’s definitely older Jamie Lee Curtis on the left panel.

That’s disappointing. Was hoping it was the original.

Because the movie was a lot more popular than they thought it would be.
There was such a limited run on the first SteelBook that it wasn't available for long. This is a WWA. It's being released in Europe as well.

I don’t know how limited or in demand the first steelbook was.

...prices on the secondary market aren’t very high.

I can only hope more McFarlane artwork winds up on home video releases!

I already have the first steelbook, but I would consider buying this and using it for the 1978 disc. Outside of older JLC on the interior, this steelbook could easily work for the original film.

I missed out on the new Halloween steelbook, and as a huge McFarlane fan, I'm all over this...

Perfect art, day 1. Hopefully they release pt 2-3 with similar art style.

I like it, you could easily swap out the interior art and never know it was meant for the 2018 version

I am a fan of McFarlane, but don't really like this art. Maybe I just don't like headshot only covers.

I prefer the Sienkiewicz art of the first SteelBook. Much more dynamic.

I think it looks better on the 4K slipcover when he’s looking down and away from the camera.
