Yeah, it's going to. That trailer is way too intellectual. Lots of people simply aren't drawn to that sort of thing.

It's looking like complex sci-fi, and I wouldn't be surprised if it underperforms.

WWZ did much better than expected after its disastrous production issues. I think goodwill from Once Upon a time will help this opening weekend.

Fox and Jordan were on Jimmy Fallon last night and it was the first time I'd heard of this movie. They showed a clip and it looks excellent!
I'll be going to this.

A relatively run of the mill racial crime/law drama with a strong performance from Jamie Foxx (particularly at the end). Tim Blake Nelson was fantastic in the little screen time that he had.

The film could have used with some trimming as the pacing was very slow.

I like it didn't know was based on a true story

of course 5 pm showing it was just me and 9 folks saw movie

everybody left at the end of movie stay for the credits show pics and captions real life folks who were involved

I thought this was very good. No frills filmmaking reliant on strong performances and emotionally charged material. And it works.
