UK replacement for seemingly UK only customers, though they changed things and now you must return your disc for exchange

I 'think' you have to pay to get the disc to them but not sure
I was lucky enough to get my copies in before they started demanding returns so I paid nothing.

Received a response Disney Consumer Relations three hours ago

They provided me a mailing address in the UK for me to mail the disc to, and they will forward it along to Disney US to be replaced with a copy of the corrected disc.

And while I have to bear the charges for sending the disc to the UK, at least the shipping of the replacement disc is free.

Just got my replacement disc from them today. I sent it to them on 3rd December so its taken over a month to get sorted

Still at least I have it now.

Does anyone know how to identify whether a disk is the fixed version or not?

I am looking to buy a copy, but there doesn't seem to be any identifiers (or maybe all disks on sale now are fixed?).

AFAIK, there was no official recall of the UK discs and even when I had mine replaced, they were replaced with US discs.

You *might* have some luck if you pick up a copy that doesn't bear the 'Diamond Edition' banner or yellow blob on the spine. That is the latest reprint of the Little Mermaid on BD, so should have the correct disc, but not confirmed.
