My absolute favourite Disney classic and it always will be, I never hear the end of how much I wore the VHS tape out as a child, forcing my parents to play it over and over again! I will definitely be picking up the Trilogy BD set on day one

Haha same! Apparently i made them watch it about 10 times a day

This is the most personal Disney film for me though, it was ingrained into my childhood in a big way. It'll be magical when i finally get to see it again after all these years.

Allegedly I did the same!

I agree too, this movie is pretty personal for me as well, while I've never had fins, I did always feel out of place and wanting to explore the world beyond where I lived and discovering who I am, and I think that's why it clicked instantly with me as a child. It doesn't hurt that the music is SO GOOD too, can't wait to see the BD transfer

That Steelbook looks beautiful May go for that if it has all the extras the standard BD does.

The Aladdin and Finding Nemo steels are quite something, hopefully the little mermaid should be as good

Thanks The Steel is quite expensive but I do LOVE that art they used with just Ariel, far more elegant than the picture used for the normal Blu

So Little Mermaid BD collection is available in the UK but the original is in 2D only. Only the first one is available in the US and it's in 3D. This release makes no sense to me. What the heck is Disney thinking.
