To Live and Die in LA had two pretty damn good twists in it (one of which is still a doozy and packs a punch).

The Sixth Sense
The Others
Primal Fear
Saw
Fight Club

I can't believe there are so many people who thinks the end of Empire Strikes Back had a twist ending. I remember hearing about Vader being Luke's father and Lea being his sister almost a year before the film was released in theaters. It was about that time the rumors for the prequels had come out as well, but at that time I didn't know I'd have to wait almost 20 years for those, and they were NOT worth it. Yes, I was a real Star Wars geek as a kid and sooooo glad I grew out of it.

The Empire Strikes Back.

I saw the movie in the theater in 1980, before the internet, before blogs that may have leaked the info, before being able to read dozens of reviews before it was in the theaters. Yes, learning that Darth Vader was Lukes father was a shock. I remember thinking No Noooo just as Luke was saying Noooo on the screen.

I will soon be 60, have seen hundreds and hundreds of movies, but this was the biggest shocker I can remember.

Haven't seen Oldboy yet - everyone says I should see it... Gonna have to watch it now.

For me I think the most shocking twist happened when my best friend and I were watching the original Wicker Man - neither of us saw that coming - we just loved it. Usual Suspects was another with a great twist but not so shocking. Some would say Crying Game but I thought it was all too obvious...but it didn't stop me from loving the movie. I know both Sixth Sense and The Village were shocking twists for some people but I figured both out halfway through the movies without even trying.

I think I'm gonna have to go with From Dusk til Dawn. I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet.

As much as I love this movie, I saw the twist ending a mile away the first time I watched it.

The Angel episode AWAKENING easily had the best twist ending of any TV show. In fact, this show had a strong set of twist endings.

Really? I had no idea. When I first saw Spacey click his wrist back into place I was like "WTF no way!"

Also, I'll add Fight Club. That was a good twist.
