If you *really* don't care who wins...

I suppose you'd love the quality (or really the lack thereof) of a POTC series forced onto on HD DVD disk each with all the extras (like is on the current Blu-ray disk for each). I suppose you would not care about lossy audio and highly compressed VC-1 encodes in order to get everything to fit onto a 30 GB disk?

I believe that is just being short sighted -- eventually to your own detriment.

It would still be a hell of a lot better than a 720p download. I'd prefer Blu-ray to win, but with Paramount's announcement there won't be a winner any time soon.
