Default Just a brief question...

Hey there - my first post in this forum

I have been googling around for a while to find some information on the combination "PS3 + Dell 2407" and up came this thread...

As I can tell from the pictures you posted here (which btw look great) it seem that the 1080p mode of the PS3 will result in black bars at the top an bottom - expected as the display has 1920*1200. Does it look the same when playing games on the PS3? Is this effect due to the 1:1 pixel mapping so that there is NO stretching of the image? I would hate to spend the money on the display and then see all the output stretched from 16:9 ratio to 16:10, but I could more than happily live with the black bars considering that the image is full HD...

any reply is appreciated!
