hmm...even if the 3d thing fails, you still have a 1080p 82' tv...damn thats a whole 9 inches bigger than mine....

This TV would eat my wall its so big lol. The price seems good for what you get but as stated earlier I know you probably don't want to go projectioin but if I were spending that money I would go projection route. The 3D ready thing seems interesting lets hope the 3D tech actually come out sometime soon.

I would have to see it in action to see if there is a large diff between old 3D tech and new 3D. Has anyone seen the Journey to the Center of the Earth BD. I hear the 3D is not bad. I am told the brightness has to be really amped up for it to pop. This is from a guy that used an Epson 1080UB front projector for the viewing.
