[Show spoiler]Mine arrived earlier today, shipped in a large bubble mailer. The folded poster does come in a labelled ziplock bag with a couple of thin cardboard pieces on both sides to offer some protection.
At least for once they didn't use a cheap cut-out eco case as they have for many of their recent website "exclusives"

As for the transfer, which I've only scanned through thus far, the grain seems really chunky in some scenes, and in others it's not nearly as strong. I get the impression the transfer may have come from multiple sources, but I could be wrong...perhaps different film stocks were originally used. The aspect ratio is the 2.00:1 OAR, exactly.
Bonus features include the advertised new Corman Interview, which runs at nearly 40 minutes.
The "Theatrical Trailer" is included on the disc, and there is also an "Audio Commentary" by film historian/author Tom Weaver & Music Historian David Schecter — albeit neither are listed on the back cover or Shout's item page for whatever reason.
I've been planning on buying Day the World Ended and up till now I have not done so. Your mention of a new 40min Corman interview sealed the deal...ordered!
