At first the audience is meant to believe it might be Myers, but that two-second shot that clearly shows the crazy blond hair was deliberately meant to tip off the audience IMO. There was no need to make the hair that color for a fake-out.

Well, of course Loomis and the cops are going to believe it might be Myers because Loomis is the only one who saw the mask before and he was at a distance in the Tramer scene where he didn’t get a good look. Even in the original Halloween he only saw the mask briefly and didn’t get a great look at it.

Both things can be true. It’s made clear to the audience it’s not Myers due to the crazy ass blond hair and I also think it’s a coincidence. It’s not even really a costume. Just a mask with clothes anyone would wear on a typical day. It’s like, what the hell is that “costume” even supposed to be? It’s just a guy with a weird pure white face and normal clothes.

This one annoys me almost as much as the glitch, it just looks so wrong.
Maybe that is the actual color it's supposed to be; if they have it on the 4K scan for the steelbook, and from the OCN...?

I can understand if there was a constant problem throughout a movie due to a problem with manufacturing. A blink and you will miss it issue really does take the Bluray.com forum nut jobs cake. Up there with the ping pong ball missing in The Thing and a the issues with the Batman TV series.

Just check out and enjoy the movie. I can’t remember the last time I read a thread on this site that didn’t have someone complaining about an issue with the disk. Colour timing, sound, aspect ratio, the plethora of other artefacts, ghosting blah blah blah blah.

I watched The Ten Commandments UHD the other day and at some point it glitched for a second. It’s technology. Stuff glitches. Not going on some forum to complain about it and demand a reissue and carry on. It was two seconds.

You all going Karen on this. You need to speak to the Jesus manager of Bluray issues please. Pump the breaks. Undertake some mindfulness exercises. Have some booze. I suggest Porn Hub or just watch an old copy of the movie if you REALLY need to see those titties unglitched.
Narcissism is the problem. Not just with Scream Factory, and these other labels, but with people like yourself who will turn the other cheek if Jesus claims you should do so. Accountability and not arrogance, dude/dudette.

So, there is a glitch with The Thing, too? I heard/read an audio issue, now I'm learning of a missing ping pong ball? Oh, geeze, these discs really are the bane of the collecting society.

If you appreciate married couples knowing everything about their significant other, that's admirable. However, in reality, not everyone cares enough. And I happen to enjoy changing up recipes if I have the means to. I don't always take my meals the same every time I order or cook, or what have you.

Just like in the new Halloween universe; things change. Whether you like it or not, we aren't the same as we were in the past.

He doesn't really know Annie is dead until after Ben Tramer gets Loomised. So, just because the sheriff doesn't know before the radio does, that can happen, I would think. Maybe the local police gave the reporters the news before they did the sheriff...?

Otherwise, why have a radio broadcast announcing the discovery of the bodies so prominently in that scene, when it creates a continuity error? I'll guess having a murder scene at the start of the movie, in parallel with the opening scene of the first movie, trumped the mistake.
I will definitely have to pay more attention the next time I watch this movie.

I was a patient in a hospital for five weeks about 8 years ago. Yeah... no. There is so much going on at night, I didn't get much sleep the entire time I was there. Besides, the comment was more about a large hospital in a small town like Haddonfield. Of course there were no patients or staff; why'd they have such a big hospital to begin with? Shouldn't it be in a bigger city near Haddonfield?

Different towns/cities, different hospitals. All I am saying is it isn't false that some hospitals are empty looking during the night. Not every hospital is the same. Hence the one I went to being vacant looking and sounding during the night time hours. During the day? They are very busy. But when the patients are sleeping, and there is less staff present, it's very Halloween 2.

One might regard this issue with big hospitals in small towns being the government. If it's a true case, that's why the government has such troubles with the economy; they need people who actually know what they are doing. Same for movies. Some times the producers don't know what they are doing.

Additional issues: there are several newborns - unattended, of course - in the nursery. Where are the mothers? Also,
[Show spoiler]Dr. Loomis causes a big explosion, which could conceivably spread out of control. No consideration for anybody else who might be in the hospital. The aforementioned newborns, for example.
That's awfully darn irresponsible.

Also, even if the reason the hospital is dark is because Michael cut the power...why is it dark everywhere? Lol. Often the lights get turned down overnight in certain wards, but damn not the ENTIRE hospital. This is a HOSPITAL, they don't have a backup generator? Are there zero patients there hooked up to any medical equipment? Nobody on life support? So many things wrong with this ghost town hospital. It made for good atmosphere, but literally no hospital is like this.
