Knowing that SF BDs are exclusively Region A, I wonder if this will be region locked too. I know that UHDs are generally region free. But there have been cases when they are locked.

Meh, I'll probably just stick with the last disc from the 4K scan. Can't see there being that much of a difference. I love this movie, but I'm getting burnt out buying it, especially after crafting my own cut of both Halloween and Halloween II cut together as one 160 minute film.

Finally, I've been holding off buy the blu-ray for years cause I knew 4K was inevitable, I'm so happy. I've been stuck with 2-8 on DVD for years since Importing sucks and so expensive. Plus the UK never gets any blu-ray release other than the original or the 2018 movie.

It's shocking how mishandled II and III have been in the UK. I don't think even think the most recent DVD release of III contains the uncut version.
