This isn't the 70's. Porn is free now, and doesn't have nearly as much influence as it did in the VHS/Beta days. There are MANY threads having to do with this topic, I'd search around a bit, as a new one isn't likely to provide any new information.

Just curious though, as I always have to ask . . . what reasoning do they give you for supporting HD DVD? The already obsolete-ness of it? The lack of space for storage and lack of bandwidth? The crappy selection of movies? I just have to ask

Tell them less than 10% of hd dvd releases have actual HD audio as in PCM, DD-THD or DTS-MA.
100% of all BD exclusive major studios have HD audio on every single release.

This can't be pointed out enough IMO, and hd dvd not having enough bandwidth has to be the culprit or hd dvd is just ripping off their customers by charging usually more than BD prices for lower specs.
Either way its total B.S.

hd dvd equals the good enough format, but unfortunately not even close to good enough for many of us.
